hi, we’re sophia & colby
a husband + wife photo & film team
we’re based in utah, but we can’t seem to stay in one spot for long. we built this business around a life we love: road trips, rolls of film, and getting to cheer on people who are about to get married.
how we got here
sophia started with film in high school. she built her own darkroom in her parents’ basement, drifted away from it, and has fallen back in love with it all over again.
colby has been filming our adventures for as long as either of us can remember, partly so he can show our kids one day.
we started chasing robins because we wanted work that fit our life, not a life that fit our work. somewhere between the road trips and the love stories and the rolls of film, it became exactly that.
what that means for you
you don’t need a perfect vision or fifty saved poses. we’ll give you easy prompts and let the real stuff happen. live your wedding, don’t pose for it.
35mm film is built into every package, so you get the grainy, scrapbook-y photos right alongside the digital ones.
we reply the same day, and you get a client portal and a clear timeline, so you’re never chasing us down or guessing.
we’ve shot across states and countries, so a new venue or a flight doesn’t scare us. we handle the logistics on our end and help with yours.
