If you’re dreaming of a day that’s meaningful and full of personality, Kenady + Gary’s wedding is the inspo you didn’t know you needed. From butterflies fluttering through their bridal portraits to cake smashing and bubble exits, this day had everything we love: sacred moments, hilarious memories, and so much love.
We had the privilege of capturing both photo and video for this sweet couple, and it was a perfect reminder of why we do what we do. When you keep the day centered on what matters—love, laughter, and sealing forever—it just hits different 🕊️
The Couple: Laid Back, Adventurous, and So In Love
Kenady and Gary met through friends and their relationship is the kind that’s just… easy. They’re chill, kind, and you could feel how much they love not only each other but also everyone around them.
They were sealed at the Manti Utah Temple on May 31st, 2025, with a 1 PM ceremony. As they exited the temple, Kenady gave Gary a big kiss… and left lipstick all over his cheek 😂 It was the perfect start to a fun, lighthearted day full of sweet chaos and candid moments.
A Temple Exit + a Day of Adventure
After the sealing, we took family photos, bridal party shots, and portraits around the Manti Temple grounds. One of our favorite photo spots? Nestled in the flowers—where butterflies actually showed up mid-session and danced through the air around Kenady and Gary 🦋 (Talk about a fairy tale moment!)
From there, the couple headed to Ephraim for a private lunch with loved ones before making their way to Salem for the evening reception.
Reception Vibes: Streamers, Toasts, and Cake to the Face 🎉
The reception was full of laughter, dancing, and just the right amount of chaos—in the best way. Between the bouquet toss, heartfelt toasts from parents, and not one but two first dances (parents and couple), there wasn’t a dry eye or an un-smiling face in the room.
Also: Kenady smashed cake in Gary’s face like a pro, and at one point the groomsmen tried to throw the groom in the air and almost dropped him. (Don’t worry—almost 😅)
The night ended with a joyful bubble + streamer exit, and it was the kind of sendoff that leaves your cheeks sore from smiling.
Candid Photo + Video Coverage All Day Long
We (Colby + Sophia) captured the entire day together—Colby filming on the Canon R6 Mark II, and Sophia photographing those sweet, in-between moments. The whole day was focused on connection, not perfection—and that’s what made it so beautiful.
From giggles between portraits to emotional parent dances to playful chaos on the dance floor, it was one of those weddings that just felt like love in motion.
