How to Actually Enjoy Your Wedding Day (Instead of Feeling Rushed)

One of the biggest fears brides don’t talk about?
Feeling rushed!
the timeline is tight.
family wants a thousand photos.
vendors are asking too many questions.
suddenly its 9pm and you feel like the day flew by and you didn’t have time to enjoy.

Here’s how to protect your experience
build buffer time into your timeline
add 10-15 minute cushions between major parts of your day
getting ready – first look
ceremony – family photos
dinner – dances
buffer time = breathing room = happy, not stressed out bride :)

Do a first look (Even if it’s private)
A first look
calms nerves
gives you more portraits
created an intimate moment before the chaos
its one of the things that I have seen that have helped brides to be less stressed on their wedding day and get double the amount of photos!

Limit Family Shot Lists
Stick to immediate family and a few must-haves.
the longer the list, the longer you’re pulled away from your guests and each other!

Trust your vendors!
this is one of the most important and can make or break your day!!
Hire vendors who’s work you love – and then let them do their job! the more you try to manage everything, the less you get to be present. So choose your vendors wisely so that on your big day you don’t have to be keeping tabs on everything

Schedule 10 Minutes Alone
After your ceremony, take 10 quiet minutes together.
no guests.
No cameras (unless you want them ;)).
Just breathe!
Your wedding isn’t a production, It’s a once-in a lifetime day! And you deserve to feel it!
