As a wedding photographer and videographer who’s worked with both LDS and elopement couples, I’ve created simple templates to make this easy and customizable for your day.

Example Timeline:

8:30 AM – Arrive at temple

Adventurous 2-Person Elopement Example Timeline:

2:00 PM – Getting ready photos in cabin or hotel
3:00 PM – Drive to trailhead or scenic spot
4:00 PM – First look at location
4:30 PM – Ceremony (vows, rings, prayers, etc.)
5:00 PM – Picnic or champagne celebration
5:45 PM – Golden hour adventure photos
7:00 PM – Blue hour photos or stargazing shots

Small Group Elopement (Family Attending):

2:00 PM – First look and bridals
3:30 PM – Arrive at temple
4:00 PM – Sealing
5:00 PM – Temple exit and family photos
6:00 PM – Dinner or casual reception
7:00 PM – Golden hour couple portraits

Pro Tips: Schedule temple photos when lighting is best (morning or golden hour). Let family know timing in advance to avoid delays. Include buffer time between travel and transitions.
