Haven + Sam’s love story is the kind that feels straight out of a movie. They first met in high school, became friends, went on their missions, and when they came back… they fell in love for real. These two are silly, adventurous, and absolutely perfect for each other.
A temple Sealing with Blue Skies
On August 1st, 2025, Haven + Sam were sealed for time and all eternity at the Mt. Timpanogos Temple. The weather could not have been better — blue skies, sunshine, and that perfect late-summer warmth.
Capturing them as they exited the temple was pure magic. They came out beaming, surrounded by family and friends cheering them on. It’s one of my favorite moments of every wedding day, but the way these two looked at each other? Unmatched.
A reception Full of Family + Personal Touches
After the sealing, they held a ring ceremony and reception in South Jordan. Their day was so family-centered — you could feel the love and support from every single person there.
One of my favorite moments of the entire night was during the daddy-daughter dance. Partway through, Haven’s brothers each took turns stepping in to dance with her. It was so tender, so unique, and such a beautiful way to honor her family.
The whole wedding had a rustic, country charm with a pastel twist. The bridesmaids each wore a different pastel color, giving a happy, summery vibe, and the groomsmen wore different ties to match. Haven’s boots (yes, boots!) were adorable, and later at the reception she brought out a glittery “Bride” cowboy hat that was so her.
Dancing + Playfulness All Night Long
Haven + Sam kicked off the reception with a choreographed swing dance as their first dance, which had everyone smiling and cheering. The bridal party was just as fun — we did some playful group shots, including one of my go-to poses where the couple stands a little forward and the bridal party rushes in for a giant group hug. The energy was pure joy from start to finish.
Throughout the day, Haven + Sam never wanted to leave each other’s side. They were sweet, playful, and so clearly in love. Photographing them was a breeze because their personalities just shined through every image.
A day full of Joy
If I had to sum up their wedding in one word? Joy. Every detail, every laugh, every dance move radiated happiness — and it was such a privilege for me to capture the day in photos while my husband, Colby, filmed it all on video.
